SANITIZON
cure, care & confidence

The vaginal environment requires precise pH balance to prevent irritation and infection. SANITIZON®, formulated with Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), provides an effective solution for preventing and treating bacterial and fungal vulvovaginal diseases.

Its mechanical cleansing action removes pathogens, infectious discharge, and odors without disrupting the natural microflora. By maintaining physiological acidity, SANITIZON® strengthens the vaginal ecosystem, reduces the risk of recurrence, and promotes the healing of vaginal wounds.

In an age of rising antibiotic resistance, SANITIZON® offers a breakthrough solution for infection control. Inspired by the body’s natural immune response, our Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) formula provides a safe and highly effective way to sanitize the vaginal area. It is a next-generation essential that prevents common infections while strictly preserving the delicate balance of your natural flora.

What is the difference between sanitizers and disinfectants?
Sanitization refers to reducing the number of microorganisms to an acceptable level, while disinfection means eliminating all forms of both vegetative and non-vegetative microorganisms. The classification of disinfectants includes high, medium, and low levels, depending on the importance and type of application intended.
What is hypochlorous acid?
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a weak acid formed when chlorine gas dissolves in water. It is used as an active ingredient in disinfectants due to its ability to break down cell membranes, similar to the mechanism of sodium hypochlorite (bleach) or hydrogen peroxide. Aqueous HOCl solutions are in the neutral to slightly acidic pH range. HOCl is surprisingly effective at very low concentrations for eliminating bacteria and viruses, as well as breaking down proteins such as pet allergens, compared to bleach-based products with higher pH. Additionally, when no extra substances like surfactants or detergents are added to the final formula, HOCl solutions leave minimal residue, making these products suitable for use on surfaces that come into contact with food, without the need for rinsing.
How long is the contact time?
Like any other disinfectant, the shorter the contact time, the better. However, longer contact times are acceptable in some cases. Contact times are always listed on the product so that users can observe the proper functioning of the product without causing any harm.
Is hypochlorous acid contact with food safe?
HOCl solutions are safe when in contact with food and therefore do not require rinsing or wiping after use.
Is Sanitizon containing surfactants (commonly known as detergents)?
Since Sanitizon does not contain surfactants, it can be excellent for regular and preventive cleaning and disinfection. However, it may require a second product containing surfactants to remove tougher grime before disinfection. Solutions containing surfactants are likely to leave residues that need to be wiped off.
What are the contraindications for using Sanitizon?
Due to the lack of studies on the effects of use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, its use is not recommended. If there is no improvement after the end of the treatment period (5 consecutive days) or if symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
What is the packaging type of Sanitizon?
It is packaged in sets of 5, each containing 100 ml with 5 disposable nozzles and an instruction leaflet, all packed in cardboard boxes along with a brochure.
